In the fall of 2014, the City of Williston selected SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to update their comprehensive plan. With the previous comprehensive plan last revised in 2010, the city determined a new plan was needed due to the substantial growth and development as a result of the booming energy industry. The purpose of this plan was to identify the community's values, concerns, and perceptions in order to generate a future land use/growth management plan, goals, objectives, policy statements, and implementation actions that will serve to establish a framework for action by the City Council and Planning Commission.
